Showing tomorrow, Chronicle is the story of three high school students who discovered a mysterious object that gave them extraordinary powers. As they master these new-found abilities, they begin to succumb to their darker desires until their lives spiral out of control.

Chronicle was written by Max Landis and directed by Josh Trank, and stars Dane DeHaan, Alex Russell and Michael B. Jordan as the three protagonists. Their three characters develop several powers including telekinesis, invulnerability and flight. However, they begin to see how much they can get when they use these to their advantage, and one of them ends up being corrupted with power.

The official website is a Facebook page and contains many teaser videos that can also be found on the movie’s official YouTube channel. Those who saw it in person would’ve probably been amazed at those circling around in the air until they get a better look and realize they were just 3 RC planes that were made to resemble man shapes. It’s still very creative though and a really good way to get attention to an otherwise lightly marketed movie starring unknown actors that’s really looking to be one of the must-watch movies of February.
