It’s Spy against Spy.

Two of the top CIA agents find their friendship and trust tested to the limit when they discover they’ve both fallen for the same woman. Starring Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, This Means War is a modern day interpretation of that classic Shakespeare quote, “All is fair in love and war,” as they bring all their skills and gadgets to turn the battle for Reese Witherspoon’s heart to their favor.

This Means War is featured as an action comedy that’s an attractive offering for couples celebrating Valentine’s Day as a cross between an action movie and a romantic comedy. Guys would probably be thankful for this as they can appease chick flick-loving girls yet still look forward to the action-packed scenes.

Chris Pine and Tom Hardy are both young actors looking to make it big in the action movie industry. Incidentally, they’ve both appeared in Star Trek movies: Pine as Capt. Kirk in 2009’s Star Trek and Hardy as Preator Shinzon (Capt. Picard’s clone) in Star Trek: Nemesis. They charm as dual leading men while still displaying the rough edge for their CIA operative roles.

Reese Witherspoon is once again starring in the genre she’s been famous for, the romantic comedy. Her character Lauren finds it wrong at first to date two guys but after a friendly advice convinces her to seize all opportunities, she must now choose between the two. Matters get complicated once the best friend agents decide not to let her know that they know each other, and that though they agree to just let the best man win, they hold nothing back in ruining the other’s chances with her.
