The Most Important Things to Do Every Year

most important things

The year 2011 is almost over and if you were unable to tick off most of the things in your to-do list for the year there’s no reason for you to feel too glum about it. This is because, the coming year, 2012, poses even more opportunities for you to do the things that you have always wanted.

Take a look at your list of to-do’s for 2011 and see which among these things you were unable to do. If you find that a lot of these things involve money and involve too much of your time, then it might be necessary for you to remove them in your list for 2012. For the first time in your life, focus on the things that are most important to achieve yearly.

For 2012, why don’t you start by simply memorizing something every day. It does not have to be a whole bulk of passage from a book or anything that may be too difficult to remember. Instead, memorize something that you have learned and that you can live by throughout your whole life. An inspirational quote will definitely come in handy.

This coming year, try your hardest to start detaching yourself from all of your monetary and priceless possessions that come in the form of things. This is because, the more focused you are on material things the more difficult it will be for you to appreciate life in a general perspective.

2012 is the year wherein you are given the right and countless opportunities to ask about the world and your existence. Be curious and go in search for answers that can make you a better person and that can give you the peace of mind that you need and that of course you deserve.

Whenever you meet people anywhere you may be, regardless if they make any impact on your life or not, always try to remember their names and their faces because this is the only way for them to remember you as well.

For starters, smile more often even when it’s uncalled for. No matter how your day turns out to be, nothing cures it better than with a genuine smile. And don’t forget to drink water because as cliché as it may be, you probably are not able to consume the required eight glasses every day.
